CALL FOR ENTRY
SOVIO LABEL DESIGN COMPETITION
Sovio, our softly sparkling wine with less than half the alcohol of conventional wines, has been very successful in the past year. However, many wine drinkers who love the idea of a lighter style wine but prefer to drink still wines have asked us to add a still white and a still red version of Sovio – and we’re planning to do just that. We want to offer to art and design students and to anyone with illustration skills the exciting opportunity to design a new label for these wines. We are proud to partner in this effort with FADwebsite, a London based art website, covering contemporary art news, street art, video and design.
The competition is free - no entry fee is required.
The winning prize is a roundtrip air ticket for two from London to San Francisco, plus five nights double occupancy hotel room. Participants must be over the age of 18 and residents of the United Kingdom.
The winning entry and a selection of others receiving judges’ commendations will be featured on Sovio’s website, FADwebsite.com as well as on our social media platforms. Finalists will be interviewed by FADwebsite.com. The top ten entries will also be exhibited at a live London art show in August 2010. The winning design may be used on our Sovio line extensions.
TIMING:
The competition runs from 15th April through 30th July, 2010. All entries must be submitted by 5pm, United Kingdom, on 30th July, 2010.
