Windsong Chardonnay

Windsong Chardonnay is a stylish New World take on Chardonnay. The Monterey Peninsula produces wines packed with flavor and this offering is no exception. A slow cool fermentation in a combination of stainless steel and oak cooperage gives this wine a full complex structure. Concentrated citrus characters and a touch of fresh cut green apple dominate the aroma and pallet. The TFC Method's careful alcohol correction has both softened and enhanced this wine's long and flavorful finish.

TFC's Windsong brand is dedicated to big, luscious New World-style wines which, in spite of their mouth filling structure and amplitude of aroma and flavour, are much softer on the palate than conventional wines of this style. Windsong wines, both white and red, are made from fully ripe varietal grapes which would normally have resulted in high alcohol being an unavoidable part of the structure. Thanks to the TFC Method, however, the wines have been crafted to offer the best of both worlds – big aroma and flavour without the alcoholic 'hotness' which would have characterized these wines if the alcohol level had not been reduced from over 14.5% to approximately 11%.
