The TFC METHOD is a unique system for creating a new generation of refreshingly lighter style wines with significantly reduced levels of alcohol – but without any reduction of aroma and flavor characteristics or loss of other organoleptic features, including the wine’s body and mouth-feel and the delicate balance between acids, tannins and multiple other polyphenolic constituents.
The TFC Method has two key components. One is a combination of key viticultural and oenological techniques developed over a decade of research by TFC’s winemaking team in California, to build wines from the ground up which respond positively to subsequent reduction of alcohol. The other key component of the TFC Method is the skilled application of a state of the art vacuum distillation system for the removal of alcohol without any loss whatever of aroma and flavour.
