TFC in the USA

The TFC concept was conceived here in the mid-1990’s. The long standing friendship and working relationship between David Stevens and Scott Burr (fellow winemaker and Head of Operations at ConeTech Inc.) led to the close collaboration between the two companies on what became known as the TFC Method of making an entirely new style of wine. It is in California that TFC maintains its laboratory and blending facility and most of its key support staff are located. It is for these reasons that TFC’s first commercially viable "new generation" wines were developed in California, before David Stevens began serious development work in some of the world’s other leading wine growing areas.
